For the services in scope, from the first statutory due date after go-live. If a penalty or interest arises from a default by Expertese, we reimburse it. Our total liability for such penalty and interest in each contract year is capped at one month's fee ($8,000), excluding taxes.
A default is a filing or deposit that is late or missed even though we received complete inputs by the agreed cut-off dates. A default by a third party we engage is treated as a default by Expertese.
What we need, and what sits outside
- We need timely approvals, funding from the parent, funds for statutory payments by the cut-off dates, and inputs through SAP or the agreed channel. If an input is late, we alert you in writing before the deadline.
- Outside this commitment: late or incomplete inputs, government portal outages or deadline extensions, and instructions from you to defer an action.
- Tax payable by the company remains the company's own liability.
Detailed terms are set out in the engagement agreement.
